This blog was originally created to blog my way through our first baby in Baltimore. I immediately did a post and never picked it up again.

On April 27th, our daughter Eleanor (Nora) Regan Moore was born after an emergency c-section at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Only 5 days earlier, during a routine 32 week ultrasound, we were told that she had a 2 inch hard mass on her abdomen. After being seen by multiple specialists her heart rate started to decline and we went into surgery.

We were able to spend three days with her, until we had to let her go peacefully in our arms surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Nora came into our lives early in order to show us her strength, beauty and teach us what all-encompassing love is.
